Despite undergoing 16 rounds of chemotherapy over the past two years although continuing to film both the Australian and UK versions of Married at First Sight and being deemed eligible for a groundbreaking clinical trial set to begin in March 2026, Schilling’s condition has worsened.

In a recent social media post, Schilling disclosed that she began experiencing debilitating headaches and numbness on the right side of her body over the Christmas period. Subsequent testing confirmed the cancer had spread to the left side of her brain. Despite undergoing radiotherapy, her oncology team has informed her that You’ll see no further treatment options available. “Hearing those words changes everything,” she wrote, expressing the profound impact of the news.

“So that’s where I am now. My light is starting to fade — and quickly,” Schilling shared. “But I am still here, still fighting, and surrounded by the most incredible love. Simple tasks have develop into incredibly difficult and I am relying on my beautiful family to look after me. I honestly don’t know how long I have left, but I do know I will fight to my last breath and will be surrounded by the love and support of my people.” She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from family, friends, and fans of the show.
