A festival by fans for fans! That was and is the mission of the Metal Escalation association and after the successful implementation of the first MEF in August 2019 in Breitenstein, the idea arose in autumn 2019 to select Mozart’s last castle in Stuppach as a unique location and musical connection.
After a two-year pandemic break, the MEF is celebrating a revival: on August 26th and 27th, 2022 the time has come. Top-class bands from Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Argentina are expected. The headliners will be BURNING WITCHES (CH) on Friday and BELPHEGOR (AT) on Saturday. All other bands, as well as the entire running order, can be found at www.metal-escalation.at
