Metallica released their first album 72 Seasons in seven years. Its presentation took place in cinemas around the world.

Metallica released their new album 72 Seasons on April 14th.

The album is the band’s 11th full-length studio release and their first since 2016. The length of the standard edition is 77 minutes; the album contains 12 tracks, including “Lux Æterna”, “Screaming Suicide”, “If Darkness Had a Son” and “72 Seasons”, which were previously released as singles.

On the eve of the album’s release, a film of the making of the album was shown in theaters around the world; it was only possible to see it that evening. The two-hour tape included comments from the musicians on songwriting, as well as a video of the performance of all the tracks of the album live.

You can listen to the new Metallica album at Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Deezer. There will be no 72 Seasons album in Yandex.Music and VK Music, since Universal Music, which owns the rights to its global distribution, ceased operations in Russia in the spring of 2022.
