Meta announced on December 31, 2023 (US time) that it will reduce the price of its conventional model of standalone VR goggles, “Meta Quest 2.” From January 1, 2024, Japan time, the 128GB model will be priced at 39,600 yen (previously 47,300 yen), and the 256GB model will be priced at 46,200 yen (53,900 yen/both tax included).
The holiday sale prices that have been going on since November remain unchanged.
