Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center of the Meteorological Authority, said that the high temperatures during the past days and today, Saturday, are due to the air masses coming from the western and eastern deserts, with the presence of an air rise in the upper layers of the atmosphere at an altitude of 5 km to 6 km from the surface of the earth. Which helps more to feel the temperature rise.
And she added, in a special statement to “Masrawy”, that the temperatures during tomorrow, Sunday, will reach 23 degrees Celsius, and gradually, with Monday, the temperatures will begin to decrease and return to the normal rates for winter.
He pointed out that the sources of air masses are completely different, and they come from the Mediterranean, and there is wind activity and the return of vulnerability to an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere and influential clouds.
And the Meteorological Authority announced its forecast regarding the weather for the period from tomorrow, Sunday, until next Friday, as cold weather prevails in the early morning and warm during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, moderate on the northern coasts and hot in southern Upper Egypt, and cold at night in most parts.
