The National Center of Meteorology raised the warning in the governorates of Jeddah, Rabigh and Al-Kamil to a “warning” and an “advanced alert” for the governorates of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, of moderate to heavy rains, indicating that the warning continues until 3:00 pm tomorrow (Monday).
The center confirmed that the advanced alert includes: the Holy Capital, Jeddah, Al-Khurma, Al-Mowaih, Turbah, Rania, Adham, Maysan, Taif, Al-Kamil, Rabigh, Khulais, Asfan, Al-Jumum, Bahra, Al-Laith, Al-Shuaiba, explaining that the forecast indicates a continuation of the situation with precipitation. Medium to heavy rains accompanied by activity in surface winds, high waves, hail, torrential rains, almost no visibility.
The CEO of the National Center of Meteorology, Dr. Ayman Salem Ghulam, said that the forecast indicates that heavy rain will fall from this evening (Sunday) on Jeddah, Thuwal, Rabigh, Al-Kamil, the Holy Capital, Taif, Al-Hada, Al-Shifa, Al-Shuaiba, Al-Laith and the parts surrounding these governorates.
He added: This heavy rain extends over the Medina region and its provinces, including the coasts, and then extends east to the regions of Riyadh, Hail, Qassim, the eastern, northeastern and northern regions, including the Al-Jawf region and the northern border region, while heavy snow will fall on the northern regions of Saudi Arabia, and thick fog will form. in the early morning hours.
