Mick Fire, who won the first round of the South Kanto 3-year-old classic Haneda Sakazuki (SI) and the second round of the Tokyo Derby (SI) with a race record, and faced the Japan Dirt Derby (JpnI). He continued the race while watching the run-away horses in good position, gradually pushing up his position after the 4th corner, and took the lead with about 100m remaining and finished 1st. Together with Kunifumi Mikomoto, who formed a combination in all three races, he won the Triple Crown horse crown.

Due to the development of the all-Japan dirt race system, from 2024, the name will be changed to Japan Dirt Classic (JpnI) as the final round of the 3-year-old dirt triple crown race, and the event will be held in autumn (early October). This is the last Japan Dirt Derby for the South Kanto 3-year-old classic. It was a result worthy of decorating the grand finale of a race that has produced many famous horses.

Thank you very much for coming to many customers in the hot weather today. I think there are a lot of customers who came to see Mick Fire’s triple crown run, so I am grateful. This horse managed to win the Triple Crown after many twists and turns. It’s a horse that has plenty of room to grow, so I think we’ll be able to show you a stronger Mickfire in the fall. At that time, I hope you will cheer for us at the packed racetrack again. Thank you very much for today.

Thanks to the staff, everyone involved, and all the fans who supported me, I was able to become an undefeated Triple Crown horse. I think we’ll see a stronger Mick Fire, so I’d be happy if you could continue to support me. Thank you very much today.
