Mick Schumacher (Haas F1 Team) finished 8th in qualifying for the 2022 F1 Dutch Grand Prix.
Mick Schumacher, who passed Q2 with the 9th fastest time, advanced to Q3 for the fourth time this season. He made his first lap on used tires and his second lap on new tires with a time of 1:11442. He got 8th on the grid.
“It’s great to make it into Q3 and of course I’m very happy with our performance,” said Schumacher.
“It was unexpected as we were expecting to be out of Q2, but it was definitely decent to get through to Q3 and repeat the lap times we had in Q2, which puts us in a good starting position for tomorrow.”
“We didn’t make any big changes, just minor tweaks and luckily we had a great set-up to start the weekend so we didn’t have to make any big changes, which especially helps build confidence. I hope you can make it faster.”
