Microsoft announced its intention to terminate the Publisher application in the Microsoft Office office suite by October 2026, and remove it from Microsoft 365 cloud subscriptions at a later time.
The company explained, in a statement, that most of Publisher’s features for creating professional templates and publications are already available in other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Word and PowerPoint, and users can rely on them instead.
