Microsoft Reactor promotes free technology-focused events for students and professionals

This March, the company will hold four hybrid events, with limited attendance. The focus will be on female leadership in the technology sector and student training for the careers of the future

São Paulo, March 6, 2023. This March, Microsoft will promote four free hybrid events on Microsoft Reactor for students, professionals and people interested in building a career in the technology sector. Registration is now open via event page Reactor, with a limited number of face-to-face spaces. The panels and debates will have as their main theme the female presence in the technology sector, with the presence of executives from Microsoft and large partner companies. This month will also see the Student Summit, a global event that takes place in the 12 Reactors that Microsoft operates around the world, in the respective languages, and will be focused on students interested in the areas of data, programming and cloud.

On Tuesday, March 7ththe happens WE Connect, event promoted by WE Ventures and WE Impact in partnership with Microsoft Reactor, about unconscious gender biases and how to combat them in the startup ecosystem. The Gender Equality Seal will also be launched on the occasion, created by WE Impact and match IT to encourage the hiring of technology suppliers with good practices for female inclusion. On Wednesday the 9th, will be carried out Women Transforming Technology. In celebration of Women’s Day, Microsoft will gather students and professionals from large companies for oneface-to-face breakfast, at the Reactor headquarters, in São Paulo, so that they can connect and discuss ways to empower women in technology. There will be three panels that will deal with topics such as: Women and the Job Market in Technology; Challenges of a Mother in the Labor Market and Women in Leadership. In addition to Microsoft professionals, executives from Itaú Unibanco, ISVs & Digital Natives, Claro Brasil, Obvious and Uzoma Diversidade, Educação e Cultura will also be present. On the 22nd of Marchthe company will carry out o Student Summit: Start and Accelerate Your Tech Career, 100% online and live event. This is a global event held across all 12 Microsoft Reactors, in local languages. The objective of the Summit is to help build the confidence and motivation of young people looking to pursue a career and improve their Microsoft Cloud skills. Through lectures given by Microsoft executives, participants will receive guidance on how to continue with their learning on important topics for careers that are on the rise in the market, such as: application development, developer tools (Low Code/No Code/Fusion ), as well as Artificial Intelligence, Data and Machine Learning.
