On the 3rd (local time), Microsoft (MS) released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23612 to the developer channel.
In this build, improved weather information is provided on the lock screen. “We’re introducing a richer weather experience to the lock screen, including dynamic, interactive weather updates,” Microsoft said.
Accordingly, users can check more information by hovering the mouse over the weather environment on the lock screen. When you tap or click the weather card and log in, Microsoft Edge opens with the full forecast from MSN Weather.
However, the new lock screen weather feature is not yet available to all participants in the developer channel. Microsoft said, “We plan to provide it to English-speaking users in the United States first and check their feedback.”
