Mido’s account statement with Ismaily before announcing the decision to leave

The club’s board of directors settled Ismaili Headed by Major General Abu Bakr Al-Hadidi, on the dismissal of Ahmed Hossam Mido, the current coach of the team, due to poor results.

Mido led the Ismaili in 9 matches, losing the first against Zamalek with three goals to one, then tied with the National Bank negatively, and lost from Haras El Hodood with two goals without a response, then lost from the Arab Contractors with three goals to one, and tied with Vanguards of the Army with a goal for each team, then They tied negatively with Aswan, then won against Al-Dakhiliyah by three goals to one, then tied with Al-Ittihad of Alexandria with one goal for each team, and finally tied with Ghazl Al-Mahalla with one goal for each team.

During nine meetings, Mido achieved one victory, five draws, and suffered three defeats. His players scored 8 goals and conceded 12 goals.

Ahmed Hossam “Mido”, the Ismaili technical director, confirmed that the Yellow Castle administration had informed Mohamed Abdel Monsef, the goalkeeper coach, that it would issue a decision to leave the technical staff in the coming hours.

Ismaily tied at home with Ghazl El Mahalla, with a score (1-1), on Tuesday evening, in the 19th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mido said that he leaves complete freedom to the Ismaili Council in order to take the most appropriate decision in the interest of the club, explaining that he was surprised by a call from Abdel Monsef telling him that the club’s management had contacted him a short while ago that a decision had been taken to leave him (Mido).

He added, “It would have been better for the Ismaili Council to inform me and communicate with me directly, but I will not talk about such matters because in the end I love the Ismaili fans, and the club does not need more crises.”

And he continued, “I was hoping to complete my journey with Ismaily, and we are still in the middle of the battle, and I am fully confident that the team is able to stay in the league.”

Mido sent a message to the Ismaili fans, stressing that he loved the dervishes and worked for the benefit of the team from the first moment, adding: “But it seems that there was a prior decision to leave me.”
