For each station on the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen, I asked which station I thought had a little shadow. Considering the fact that the characteristics of the land where they live are biased, we also counted by the place of residence of the respondents, but the majority did not change.

“I’ve never gotten off” and “the shadow is thin” are two different things!?

From Friday, June 30, 2023 to Monday, July 3, 2023, “Riding News” will conduct a survey of stations that have been used on the Tokaido, Sanyo, and Kyushu Shinkansen. Responses were collected from 1504 people.

Here, looking at the stations with the fewest “I have gotten off”, Shin-Omuta (3.4%), Shin-Tamana (3.5%), Shin-Minamata (4.5%), Chikugo Funagoya (6.3%), and Izumi, in order from the least. (6.5%), Higashi-Hiroshima (8.3%), Asa (9.2%), Shin-Onomichi (10.3%), Sendai (10.7%), and Shin-Iwakuni (13.7%).

However, when asked about “the station where the shadow is thin” after that, it did not necessarily match “the station I have never got off”. List the stations with 3% (50 people) or more answers.
