Army units are on alert with their military vehicles and equipment, in the area south of the Litani, and its elements have taken up combat positions, in response to the Israeli army’s removal of a tent that had been stationed along the border line in the Bastra axis – the Shebaa Farms axis.
The “UNIFIL” forces operating in southern Lebanon had quoted Israel as saying that “the tent was concentrated inside the occupied area and it must be removed by the concerned authorities,” while the Lebanese army considered that “the tent was concentrated in a Lebanese area.”
And a wide spread of the Israeli army was recorded along the entire border line of the Shebaa Farms, where dozens of armored vehicles and tanks were seen moving inside the military sites.
On the other hand, the “UNIFIL” forces are working on contacts between the Lebanese and Israeli sides to curb the state of tension.
