Minecraft gets a collaboration with Dungeons & Dragons

Mojang continues to deliver exciting new collaborations for Minecraft, and following a series of unexpected ones, now is the time for something that seems to fit really well. Late yesterday it was revealed in a short D&D stream that Minecraft is getting “a dramatic story” thanks to the launch of the Dungeons & Dragons DLC this spring.

The press release indicates that we can expect “explore iconic Forgotten Realms locations like Icewind Dale and Candlekeep, battle Beholders, Mimics, and more” – which frankly sounds very good. Mojang Studios Senior Producer Riccardo Lenzi had this to say regarding the collaboration:

“We are extremely excited to partner with Wizards of the Coast to bring an all-new story-driven Dungeons & Dragons DLC to Minecraft! We can’t wait for the community to dive in and experience a block view of the D&D world. »

Watch the short presentation video below. It contains a lot more D&D than you might think.
