Abdel Ghaffar added that 6 evening clinics for adolescents have been provided in each of (Cairo, Minya, Sohag, Aswan and Menoufia), in addition to 5 evening clinics for adults in (Bani Suef, Dakahlia, Alexandria, Assiut and Menoufia) as part of the plan to expand services. Treatment for addiction patients in various governorates and for all segments of society.
For her part, Dr. Menen Abdel-Maksoud, Secretary General of the Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, indicated that the “Eid without Others” campaign comes within the framework of the “100 Days of Health” campaign, as the campaign aims to provide recoverers with good conditions to spend and enjoy various occasions in an atmosphere of recovery. , supports their ability to enjoy life without the need to use narcotics, noting that this campaign comes as part of the Municipality’s efforts to combat drug addiction, which includes the ongoing campaign under the slogan “You can appreciate others.”
Menan stated that the campaign is launched through the General Secretariat’s hospitals for mental health and addiction treatment, which number 23 hospitals and centers in 16 governorates.
Manan said that the activities of the campaign include a group of imams presenting religious seminars for addiction patients in all hospitals and centers affiliated to the Municipality, in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf, with the aim of raising religious awareness among patients and helping them recover.
