Along with the stars in the movies, there are animals that shine as well. Once a movie is clicked then they get more offers and demands. Ron, a 6-year-old Belgian Malinois dog, has become one such celebrity. Ron’s new film is ‘Good Moon Night’ produced by Sandra Thomas. Ron is playing the lead role with Dileep and Sureshgopi and in Tamil with Sarathkumar. Ron’s trainer is Unni Vaikom.
Unni said that Davidson CJ contacted him about a well-trained dog on a moonlit night. After buying the script in the first place, Ron was trained. Actor Baburaj, Chemban Vinod, Binu Pappu, Ronnie David Raj and Ganapathi completed the scene beautifully after the demo was shown at the location. Ron is ready to do any kind of performance for the film. Unni Manorama told Online that he is being taken to the location with all kinds of training.

Ron is playing the lead role in Suresh Gopi’s ‘Garudan’. Ron is seen in Sarathkumar starrer Tamil film ‘Azhi’, Kutty Gangs, DNA, Tovino Thomas starrer Ajay’s Second Moshanam and Saijukurupp’s Pappachan Olivila. Ron is not only acting but also dubbing. Renowned sound designer Rasul Pookkutty captured Ron’s voice for a film. The voice of the dog is being recorded for the Tamil film Aahri. For this, Rasulpookutty came to Kochi from Delhi in search of Ron.

Not only dogs, Unni has trained many other animals for the film. Unni owns a dog training center called ‘Heaven of Canines’ in Kottayam. Around 22 dogs including 8 stray dogs are under Unni’s care. Also domestic cats, chickens, horses, pigs, rabbits etc. have been prepared for the film. Unni trained the domestic cat in the movie Pranayavilasam. Unni made her film debut through Naayat. Dileep’s D One 49 is also his 100th film. Unni says that any animal can be trained.
