Al-Marsad Newspaper: Today, the Ministry of the Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in Al-Qassim region, as follows:
God Almighty said: (The recompense of those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is only that they be killed or crucified or their hands cut off. M and their feet from the opposition or exiled from the land that is for them disgrace in this world and in the Hereafter a great punishment).
Yasser bin Muhammad Al-Asmari – a Saudi national – established a terrorist cell seeking to carry out terrorist and subversive acts inside the Kingdom and attack security men, and communicated with terrorist organizations in conflict areas to provide support for his cell, adopting the takfiri approach and pledging allegiance to the leader of a terrorist organization and sheltering a number of his relatives. Terrorist ideology, recruiting and training them to manufacture explosives and assigning them to locate some sites to target, seeking to buy and hide a large amount of explosive materials and weapons, seizing chemicals to use in cell targets, manufacturing and collecting explosive materials, possessing and using them with the intent of breaching security, financing terrorism and its crimes, and possessing a gun. And ammunition, and his participation in hostilities in conflict areas, and helping others to get out to those areas, and by referring him to the Specialized Criminal Court, a deed was issued against him stating that he was guilty of what was attributed to him, and the sentence to kill him was punished. The ruling was supported by the Specialized Criminal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued ruling By implementing what was decided by Sharia, and supported by his reference against the aforementioned offender.
The death sentence was implemented as a ta’zir punishment for the perpetrator / Yasser bin Muhammad Al-Asmari, today, Monday, 10/25/1444 AH, corresponding to 5/15/2023 CE, in the Qassim region.
And the Ministry of the Interior, announcing this to confirm the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings in all those who transgress against the safe and shed their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to commit such criminal terrorist acts that the Sharia punishment will be his fate.
