Al-Marsad Newspaper: Today, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the execution of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in the Eastern Province, as follows:
God Almighty said (The recompense of those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is only that they be killed, or crucified, or their hands cut off, or expel them from the strife, or exile them from the land; that is for them a disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a grievous chastisement).
Ali bin Ahmed bin Ali al-Moallem (a Saudi national) killed his ex-wife/ Thuraya bint Abdullah bin Mahdi al-Maidani (a Saudi national), by entering her house disguised as a woman’s cloak, and stabbing her with a knife several times in her face and in separate parts of her body, which led to her death. .
By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being charged with committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court, a document was issued against him proving what was attributed to him, and because his act was a trick and deception, he was sentenced to death to end his killing of the victim. Ghaila, and the verdict was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to implement what was decided by Sharia and was supported by its reference against the aforementioned offender.
The death sentence was executed by the perpetrator / Ali bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Moallem, today, Saturday, 10/23/1444 AH, corresponding to 5/13/2023 AD, in the Qatif Governorate in the Eastern Province.
And the Ministry of the Interior, announcing this to confirm the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings for everyone who transgresses the innocent or spills their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do so that the Sharia punishment will be his fate.
