MINISTER of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno emphasized that his party was given the task of completing the development of the 5 super priority tourism destinations (DPSP) program by October 2024. The 5 DPSPs include Borobudur Temple, Lake Toba, Likupang, Mandalika and Labuan Bajo.

“We were given the task to complete this in October to ensure that nothing stalls,” he said when met in Jakarta on Thursday (14/3).

Sandi said that the development process for the 5 DPSPs was going smoothly and very well.

“So that all projects that are being worked on in the 5 super priority tourism destinations will be completed in June-July this year. And some will be carried over to become the baton for the elected government later,” he added.

As is known, this year the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is targeting 14 million visits from foreign tourists (tourists) and 1.25-1.5 billion movements of domestic tourists (wisnus).

“Bali still supports Indonesian tourism by 50%, but 5 DPSPs can already approach 10-15% of the total movement of domestic tourists,” he concluded. (Z-6)
