Paislee Shultis, a girl who disappeared in 2019, was found alive thanks to a phone call they made to the police department, where they reported that the minor was “in a hidden place” inside a house in Saugerties.

Last Monday the police found a girl alive in a hole under the stairs, inside a house, in the city of Saugerties, United States. The smallest hhad been reported missing by his legal guardians when he was four years old in 2019.

The event was announced by Saugerties Police Departmentthrough a press release.

Everything was unleashed when on February 14, the department received a call informing them that the little Paislee Shultisit was “inside a hidden place” in a house in the city.

This place where Shultis was supposed to be, was the house where the minor’s parents livedso after getting the order to register it, they went to the address.

Later, after more than an hour looking for the girl in the building, a police through a crack he noticed that there was a blanket inside the stairstherefore he decided to take some steps and that was when he saw a pair of small feet.

In the hollow the girl was therecurrently 6 years old, with his mother Kimberly Cooper and as the rescuers described it was a place “small, cold and wet”.

What happen after?

After the rescue Paislee Shultis, she was taken to the police headquarters and checked by paramedics, where it was revealed that the minor was in excellent health condition, she was handed over to his legal guardians and was reunited with his older sister.

On the other hand, his father Kirk Shultis Jr. (32), his mother Kimberly Cooper (33) and his grandfather, who was in the house, Kirk Shultis Sr. (57), were arrested, prosecuted and charged for the disappearance of the little girl, as a result of the investigation.

The mother faces Custodial interference charges in the second degree and for endangering the welfare of a minor.

In the case of Shultis Jr. and Shultis Sr. they face felony charges of Custodial Interference in the First Degree and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a minor, police said.
