A 25-year-old woman who had been missing since November 9 has been found alive by authorities in Big Bend National Park in Texas.
A vehicle she had rented was found at the entrance to a trail a few days ago, which prompted authorities to become interested in her disappearance on Wednesday.
The U.S. Park Service tells CNN that a highly trained team was conducting searches outside of those initiated by local law enforcement when they found the woman about a quarter-mile from the trail near where her car was found.
Christy Perry was not only alive, but awake and able to speak.
She was then transported to a hospital, where her condition was considered stable.
