The Prime Minister is expected to be in Rhodes today, while on Tuesday he is scheduled to go to Thessaloniki together with Kyriakos Pierrakakis for the presentation of the anti-bullying platform in Polichni.
According to information, in the coming weeks party echelons prepared in consultation with N.D.-Megaros Maximos will also take to the streets. The echelons will consist of ministers, parliamentarians and general secretaries of the party and will cover, as in the national elections, the entire territory.

In his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized, among other things: “Populism is one of the great dangers that runs through all of Europe. Demagogues have only one goal: to hide the truth. Greece has paid dearly for this in the past and we will never allow what happened in the past decade to happen to Greece again. Populism brought her to the brink, when we were trying to find our way again. That is why the crisis lasted longer in Greece. We did not forget the two sides of the lie. In anti-European supposedly anti-systemic demonstrations. We experienced the Nazi Golden Dawn attacks, a pernicious referendum.
If I had to code the demands of the next day for Europe, the challenge is realism and truth, condensed into three words. Words starting with the letter “a”: Competitive economy, self-sufficient defense, agricultural policy with perspective and competitiveness”.
«Ono to experimentation”
Referring to the European elections in June, the prime minister underlined that the opposition sees them as a battering ram, to shake political stability at home and distort the political mandate that this government received a few months ago. “Do we have room for experimentation and adventures at this juncture?”, he said characteristically. “Abstinence, inactivity, indifference are not allowed. Messages of indifference must be translated into messages of perspective, consistency and democracy”, he clarified for the time of the ballot box.
He closed the scenarios of his moving to Europe saying: “Behind the title and the names of our ballot, our commitments are hidden. But something else is hidden. My name is also hidden. I need this strength in the negotiation and in the European Council. We stay in Europe and want Ursula von der Leyen as president, but we also stay in Greece with Kyriakos Mitsotakis and N.D. head”.

“The curtain of the Congress gives us additional optimism,” continued the prime minister. “The fact that we are all here today together shows that we are united by the same values. The EPP will once again be the big winner of the June 9 European elections.”
The prime minister attacked SYRIZA, asking: “Who are the ones who want to stop the march? Mr. Kasselakis, who does not hide it, has Mr. Polakis in his soul. He was and he is. To water the political dialogue with toxicity. He considers the 13-0 convicted Mr. Pappa to be his representative, he shows basic ignorance about things happening in our country”.
And he continued: “It is not possible for the president of SYRIZA to ask for a postal vote in the national elections, when his party voted against it in the European elections.”
He also attacked the president of PASOK-Movement of Change, emphasizing that “Nikos Androulakis has chosen to paint PASOK with the colors of SYRIZA”. And he also left spikes for the parties on the fringes of the Far Right, “photographing” them: “Up close, those who sell faith, do political telemarketing.”
He further noted: “We must not let propaganda tarnish our country. I never hid the problems, I stood first and took responsibility for our actions. But it is a path of constant progress. There should not be a pre-election period full of lies, which create immunity to stupidity.”
