José Altuve adds another record to his illustrious Major League career with the Houston Astros. The Creole entered a select group of only 11 players to achieve this important milestone. “Astroboy” entered the Expansion Era brand books (1961)by accumulating 10 turns consecutively with unstoppable.
Before this brand José Altuve was one hit away from the record set by Bernie Williams (2002) and Dustin Pedroia (2016), who occupy second place with 11 consecutive at-bats. The record of 12 consecutive hits before the Expansion Era dates back to 1952.

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Corey Dickerson matched Altuve on Aug. 25 with 10 straight at-bats. Nevertheless, the Creole inscribed his name in an important section and he is the only Latino in this top.
