Miguel Cabrera is close to returning to bat with the Detroit Tigers. The maracayero spoke with the manager of the Bengalis, AJ Hinch about his current condition and assured him that he no longer has pain in his knee. This was reported by the reporter for the Detroit News, Chris McCosky on the social network Twitter. EIn past matches, “Miggy” had been out of the lineup due to knee problems and they have limited his performance.
In the entire month of August, he has only been able to take 25 at-bats and has linked two hits. This has been as a consequence of the ailments it brings. After a conversation between Hinch and Miguel Cabrera, the helmsman of the Bengalis pointed out that the Creole feels better in his knee, although he is not yet ready to return to the lineup.

Hinch talked to Miggy last night. He’s not hurting any worse, Hinch said he feels a little bit better. But giving him an extra day before an off-day is good medicine. And how do you keep Carpenter out of the lineup? https://t.co/llRsl3JsJ1

It’s just that Kerry Carpenter has held the designated hitter spot in recent games. In the last game of the series between the Tigers and the Guardians of ClevelandMiguel Cabrera will be on the bench but not yet available in the reserves to take turns as a pinch hitter.
Jeimer Candelario has been scratched from today’s lineup.
