The round of the round of 16 of the Leagues Cup came to an end with an abysmal dominance by the MLS teams that left 11 participants in the best 16, while only five clubs survived from Liga MX.

Only América, Monterrey, Toluca, Tigres and Querétaro are still alive in the binational tournament being played in the United States and Canada. One of these clubs will seek to reach the final and keep the trophy to leave the name of Mexican soccer at the top.
