MM Money| MM Mani says No regrets for the remark against kk rema – News18 Malayalam

Thiruvananthapuram: MM Mani MLA reiterated that he said the right thing in his remarks against KK Rama. There is no regret in saying so. MM Mani told the media in Thiruvananthapuram that there is nothing anti-women in this and if the opposition says so, he has no reason to swallow it. For the past one year and four months, they have been constantly speaking against the government and the Chief Minister personally in the Legislative Assembly.

He got the opportunity to speak yesterday after saying Rama in the Nyasabha. After their conversation, I felt the need to give such a reply. That’s why he spoke like that. Even though they spoke against the Chief Minister for so long, we did not say anything. He still believes that what he spoke against Rama was right. He has no regrets. As soon as he started his speech, he said Orumahati, there was a commotion from the opposition. Meanwhile, one of them said that she was not a widow. I don’t remember who said it. He said that widowhood was their fate. So that’s what came to mind. I don’t think there is much wrong with that.

Kerala Legislative Assembly has only the posts like Chief Minister, Minister, Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Leader of Opposition. He said that because he felt that Rama did not have any special reservation in the assembly. And it was not the party’s decision to kill Chandrasekaran. The party denied the murder that day. Mani said that he has no grudge against them and that their condition is unfortunate.

The House adjourned for the day after the opposition took center stage and raised a ruckus. Opposition MLAs came to the House with banners and placards. Opposition leader VD Satheesan demanded that MM Mani, who had made anti-women remarks while the House was sitting, apologize. The protest intensified during the question session itself.

The opposition leader repeatedly said that it was not the court verdict that led to the killing of TP Chandrasekaran but the party court. Law Minister P Rajeev has criticized those who said sitting martyrdom when a college student was killed is now creating a ruckus. The opposition leader said that Mani’s remarks were anti-women and he should not say that he is the judge behind the party court verdict to kill TP Chandrasekar. P Rajeev clarified that MM Mani had said that CPM was not responsible for TP’s murder.

At this stage Speaker MB Rajesh intervened in the matter. He said that unparliamentary remarks are usually scrutinized and removed later. He also clarified that the chair is limited to intervene. VD Satheesan responded to this saying that he was surprised by the Chief Minister’s defense of Mani. The Speaker entered the question and answer session but the opposition took center stage in protest. The Speaker asked the opposition to cooperate. The opposition was not ready. Dalima Jojo was invited by the Speaker to raise a question. Minister MV Govindan was unable to answer the question. With this, the speaker canceled the question and answer session. Later today’s proceedings were canceled and the House broke up. The House will meet on Monday.
