The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, announced today, Saturday, that the founding day, corresponding to February 22 of each year, is an official holiday for employees in the public and private sectors.
Al-Rajhi explained that this comes from the wise leadership’s keenness to sensitize the depth of the country’s history, and to perpetuate the glorious memory in the hearts of Saudi society.
It is reported that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, He issued a royal decree that February 22 of every year be a day to commemorate the founding of the Saudi state under the name (Foundation Day) It becomes an official holiday.
