Bandai Namco Group’s cross-sectional project “Gundam Project” has signed a partnership agreement with Scuderia AlphaTauri at “FORMULA 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023” to be held from November 17th to 19th. The Mobile Suit Gundam series will appear at the F1 Las Vegas GP, and decals of “RX-78-2 Gundam” and “XVX-016 Gundam Aerial” will be added to the left and right sides of the headrest of Scuderia AlphaTauri’s machine “AT04”.
In addition, two Gundam statues approximately 2m tall will be installed on the circuit. The Mobile Suit Gundam series has been expanded by adding decals to AT04, opening pop-up stores around the circuit, and displaying the RX-78-2 Gundam with Scuderia AlphaTauri decals and coloring. We plan to develop a variety of content centered around this.
A promotional video featuring Yuki Tsunoda, dressed in a racing suit inspired by a Gundam pilot, was also released.
