Modern Warfare 2: September beta release

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta will allow players to act in a hands-on way! Give developers the feedback they need to ensure a better launch experience on October 28th. However, when do we expect to see the Beta for Modern Warfare II? Here’s the scoop.

Rumors have indicated that August is a month when players will see a beta version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, according to Amazon’s latest listing. Instead, Activision split the beta into two weeks from mid to late September, first on PS4 and PS5, then on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Battle.net PC, and Steam PC the following week.

August is instead used to disclose multi-participant events and information. It offers an exclusive look at the gameplay from the more traditional game modes of Modern Warfare II, new game systems and some surprises.

Weekend 1 (PlayStation Exclusive)

Early access: September 15-16

open beta: September 17-19

Weekend 2 (Beta Cross-Play)

Early access: September 22-23

open beta: 24-26 September
