Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said through his official account on Twitter: “I was pleased with my leaders’ participation in the El Alamein Brotherly Consultative Meeting.”

He added, “The UAE is continuing to coordinate effectively with its brothers to promote joint Arab action and support sincere efforts to achieve stability, development and prosperity in the region.”

The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi had received in the city of El Alamein the leaders of the UAE, Bahrain and Jordan, where they affirmed their support for efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability in the region.

The Egyptian presidency said in a statement that Sisi received at the presidential palace in the city of El Alamein on the Mediterranean Sea, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the King of Jordan Abdullah II.

And it was scheduled to join these leaders, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who cut short his visit to Egypt due to the recent developments in his country.

The Egyptian presidential spokesman, Bassam Rady, said that the Al Alamein private meeting dealt with brotherly relations and various aspects of joint cooperation.
