His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received Masrour Barzani, President of the brotherly Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.
His Highness and Masrour Barzani discussed, during the meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Bahr, various aspects of cooperation between the UAE and brotherly Iraq, especially the Kurdistan region of Iraq, in the economic, investment, development and humanitarian fields that serve the development and construction efforts of both sides.
His Highness and Barzani exchanged views on the overall developments taking place in the Middle East and the importance of supporting efforts and efforts to consolidate the pillars of peace and stability in the region, achieve development for its peoples, and build a better future of cooperation and coexistence.
During the meeting, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq expressed his condemnation of the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia on civilian sites and facilities in the UAE, stressing that it violated all international norms and laws and posed a serious threat to regional peace and security.
And he stressed the need to take a firm and deterrent international stance for this militia and other forces of terrorism and its supporters in the face of the crimes it is committing against innocent people.
