It’s been a good two years now Molybaron with The Mutiny expanded the spectrum of the progressive metal scene with a very unique mix of alternative rock and progressive metal. The question now is whether it is the successor Something Omninous manage to maintain the set standards or even go one better?

On the new work, the singing once again sets its own accents. Gary Kelly has a very individual style. Of course the hooks are right again and the band once again manages this wandering between memorable heavy rock and complex progressive metal brilliantly. Where Molybaron generally difficult to squeeze into a specific genre. Highly melodic progressive metal with an edge perhaps best describes it.
