Monkey pox could affect the brain

Two and a half years following the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, research is beginning to better understand how the SARS-CoV-2 virus affects our organs and in particular our brain. Monkey pox, which resurfaced in May 2022 around the world, is now also under close scrutiny. 3,547 cases have been confirmed in France as of September 1, 2022, while in all, the disease has spread to 41,000 people worldwide, according to the WHO at the end of August 2022.
