This time, that’s it, the Doudou 2023 ended this Tuesday evening with the traditional fireworks display. The Montois were able to party all week. And they will be able to enjoy the city center again next weekend, during the rehearsal of Petit Lumeçon on Saturday and then the fight on Sunday.

All this week, the Mons police have not been idle, they have made a total of 138 administrative arrests and 6 judicial arrests. The week was of course marred by fights, especially at the end of the evening, alcohol helping.

– Wednesday, 1st day of Doudou: 4 administrative arrests for public drunkenness

– Thursday: 14 administrative arrests and 1 judicial arrest. A report also for non-compliance with the Ducasse order.

– Friday, day of the Kendji Girac concert: 39 administrative arrests and 3 judicial arrests

– Saturday: 33 administrative arrests and 1 judicial arrest

Throughout the week, many mobile phones and wallets were stolen. The tow trucks also had a lot of work for all the drivers who had parked in awkward places during the festivities and the various events.
