Monthly pension for those who leave Ukraine and come to Russia; Russia with a new plan

Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin is offering huge financial benefits to those who leave Ukraine and come to Russia.

The Russian government has decided to provide a monthly pension payment of 10,000 Russian rubles ($170) to those coming to Russia from Ukraine, including pregnant women and the disabled.

Putin signed the order on Saturday. The order has also been published on the government portal.

Those who were forced to leave the territory of Ukraine from February 18 will receive the benefit.

The decree also states that along with the citizens of Ukraine, the people of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics will also be paid.

Russia also issues Russian passports to Ukrainian citizens. The United States and Ukraine had come forward against this. The US and Ukraine argued that Russia’s move was illegal.

In July, Putin announced that all Ukrainian citizens who wish to obtain Russian citizenship will be granted Russian citizenship.

Vladimir Putin signed the Russian Naturalization Process Decree to make the process easier and faster for Ukrainian citizens who wish to obtain Russian citizenship.

On February 18, Putin ordered a reward of 10,000 Russian rubles for those coming to Russia from Donetsk and Luhansk provinces in eastern Ukraine.
