However, there was a double-digit decline of 14.1 and 13.1 percent year-on-year for both gasoline and diesel engines in August. For purely electric cars, the increase was 49.5 percent compared to August 2022. New registrations of hybrid models rose by 26.9 percent to 5,478. A total of 18,790 cars were registered in August, an increase of 5.5 percent.
