More than 100 military aircraft, including stealth aircraft, were put into the Chinese blockade of Taiwan… all-time high

About 10 ships, including destroyers, mobilized maritime blockades

The Chinese military has simultaneously deployed more than 100 military aircraft, the largest ever in history, in a large-scale armed protest against Taiwan.

State-run China Central (CC) TV announced on the 4th that more than 100 air and naval military aircraft from the Eastern Front performed day and night reconnaissance, aerial assault, and cover support in the northern, western and eastern airspaces of Taiwan.

CCTV reported that various types of military aircraft were mobilized, including fighter jets, bombers, and aerial refueling aircraft.

The screen released by CCTV in the Internet version also showed that the J-20, China’s state-of-the-art stealth fighter, participated in the training.

The scale of the military aircraft mobilized today is the largest ever.

Previously, a total of 149 military aircraft entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone on October 1 to 4, during China’s National Day holiday last year.

On a one-day basis, on October 4, the last day of last year’s National Day armed protests, a total of 52 Chinese military aircraft, including 38 J-16 fighters, entered the Taiwan Air Defense Identification Zone, the highest ever recorded.

In addition, CCTV reported that in the waters surrounding Taiwan on the same day, while about 10 destroyers and frigates jointly entered the blockade of Taiwan, they carried out reconnaissance and vigilance activities in the live-fire training area while carrying out reconnaissance and guidance missions for other military forces.

Separately, the Chinese military fired 11 Dongfeng (DF) series ballistic missiles in the waters of northern, eastern, and southern Taiwan on the same day, and several rockets were fired in the training area spanning the midline of the Taiwan Strait. Unprecedented high-intensity armed protests were held.
