More than 10,000 euros in damage: Police are looking for rental fraudsters

They left without paying the hotel bill due to a supposed medical emergency.

The three Germans had previously announced by email on Tuesday that they would come back on Wednesday to settle the outstanding bill, the police said. Any luggage left behind has now been stored in the luggage room of the hotel in the Gurgl district. On Wednesday around midday it was noticed that the luggage had now been picked up.

The Germans could then no longer be reached by telephone. The review of personnel data and further investigations into the matter were underway, it said.
