This series of photos is an opportunity to discover one of the most sought-following versions of the Volkswagen Bus, but also the one that sells best.
With its twenty-one windows, this 1965 Volkswagen Type 2 Deluxe 21-Window Samba Bus is in excellent condition, despite having more than 110,000 km on the odometer (the total mileage of the vehicle is unknown). A state which undoubtedly explains the sum reached by the auction: more than 140,000 euros.
This Combi features a 1.8-litre flat four-cylinder, twin-carburettor, installed by the previous owner. Added to this is a completely rebuilt 4-speed manual gearbox, a sliding fabric sunroof, and even 14-inch steel rims on which are mounted chrome hubcaps bearing the VW logo.
