By opting for a reboot (in history), Ed Boon and his teams took malicious pleasure in returning to the origins of the saga, with more classic outfits reminiscent of the good old days of the 90s. costume skins will make our protagonists more contemporary, but this neo-retro aspect does the license a lot of good. Even in the attacks and the famous Fatalities, we find the iconic attacks of the fighters. The gore aspect is obviously still relevant, but we come back to the basics quite often.
