The last weekend of February was chosen by dozens of vacationers from the Metropolitan region to return home.

More than 300,000 vehicles returned to the Metropolitan region during the last weekend of February, as announced by the Ministry of Public Works (MOP).

The secretary of the Public Works portfolio in the Metropolitan region, Jorge Daza, reported that the return has been “normal and calm.”

Specifically, the authority indicated that – until 7:30 p.m. – the largest number of cars had returned to the capital using “the Angostura toll, with a total of 109 thousand.”

Finally, Daza made a call “to drive defensively, to respect the signs that the road gives us to have a good return to our homes and with our families.”
