More than 480 deals signed at China’s Xiamen International Investment Fair

XIAMEN, Sept. 12, 2022 (Xinhua) More than 480 project deals were signed at the 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, east China’s Fujian Province.

Last Sunday, preliminary data showed that the total investment value of the agreements reached 342 billion yuan (about 49.5 billion US dollars).

Through physical or online attendance, more than 800 industry and trade groups, more than 4,000 enterprises and nearly 60,000 businessmen from more than 90 countries and regions participated in the four-day fair.

The exhibition, which concluded last Sunday, included important conferences and forums, investment talks and projects to match projects. It focused on topics including digital technologies, green investment, the Belt and Road Initiative, BRICS cooperation, and RCEP trade cooperation.

Under the title “Global Development: Sharing Digital Opportunities, Investing in a Green Future”, the grand exhibition represents an effort to promote mutual investment and global economic recovery. /ts/
