A step separates Moroccan Fahd Movi from Burnley, and these are the details of the deal

The contract of the Moroccan right-back for the Portuguese team Portimonense, Fahd Movi, expires on June 30, 2023, after he recently refused to extend his contract after the various offers that the 26-year-old received from inside and outside the Portuguese League.

And the Portuguese sports newspaper “Apolla” revealed, on Monday, that the Moroccan player, Fahd Moufi, will move in the next summer transfer period, to strengthen the ranks of the newly promoted Burnley team to the English Premier League competitions, after the Belgian coach, Vicente Kompany, remained watching him for the last period. The Moroccan player is expected to go through his first professional experience in the “Premier League”, to join his compatriot, Anas Zarrouri, who previously played in Portugal with the Tondela team, and before that he played in the ranks of the French Olympique Lyon team.

In this context, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed obtained, on Tuesday, information from a close associate of the player, Fahd Mufi, through which he confirmed that the latter had given his final approval in order to move to play in the English Premier League with Burnley, as he would sign a 3-year contract for a sum of up to 3 million euros, while the player, who previously represented the Moroccan under-20 national team, hopes to be among the players able to convince the coach of the “Atlas Lions” team, Walid Regragui, of his technical and physical qualifications, in order to join the ranks of the first Moroccan national team.
