Following the Nintendo Direct (of which you can find all the details HERE) the rumor has come true and the series Mother (EarthBound in Europe) has made a successful comeback to Nintendo Switch with the release of EarthBound Beginning (Mother) and EarthBound (Mother 2) on apps NES and super nintendo from Nintendo Switch Online (see details HERE.) If this is good news in itself, fans of the series would have preferred an announcement about the third installment in the series Mother 3. It must be said that unlike the other two, Mother 3 never had the honors of a release outside of Japan, despite fan requests and the fact that its hero, Lucas has been known to everyone ever since. Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Whereas the game recently celebrated its 15 yearsits producer Shinichi Kameoka explained to our colleagues Nintendo Everything that he would love to see the game localized in English, and released in the United States and Europe. He still continued to hope that this was the case… So Nintendo can he locate his game so long after? let’s remember that EarthBound Beginning only arrived in Europe qu’en 2015 via the Virtual Console of the Wii U. same for me EarthBound who was not entitled to an English localization only in 2013 (on Wii U) and in 2016 (on New 3DS.) So there is hope. Otherwise, there are fan translations that Nintendo cannot ignore... So will it end up being officially released in the West? Maybe if one day GBA games land on the Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo will give us this little gift?
