“Motor Ship Runs Aground in Olya Port: Latest News and Updates”

The motor ship with cargo for Iran ran aground in the port of Olya in the Volga-Caspian sea navigation channel. A tug went to his aid.

The incident was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Astrakhan region on May 27. The ship got up regarding half past six in the evening. “Port Olya-2” with Astrakhan registration was heading to Iran, to Amirabad. The passage of ships through the canal is currently blocked.

The crew consists of 14 people. It is noted that the ship was not damaged, and there was no fuel spill.

On board is a bulk cargo weighing 4546.509 tons.
