Motorola, which belongs to Lenovo, unveiled a strange concept during the Lenovo Tech World 23 which has just taken place in the United States in Austin (Texas). This is a smartphone that changes shape and can be bent to different degrees. Thus, the 6.9-inch panel can curve to take the shape of a C, for example. This allows the smartphone to be worn like a large bracelet. Practical as a watch, but also for carrying a mobile whose size becomes too large to store in a pants pocket.
A smartphone that curves without bending
But as the theme of this show organized by Lenovo was oriented towards artificial intelligenceartificial intelligence, in addition to the feat of giving a totally curved shape to a phone, Motorola imagines that AI functions integrated into the mobile could generate a fund of screen that adapts to your outfit. As it is a concept, we do not have many technical details about the smartphone. What we know is that the manufacturer named it “ Adaptive Display Concept », and that its screen has a definition of 2228 x 1080 pixels. The mobile does not have a hinge, since it does not fold in two, but can bend to stand upright, or in the form of an arc. In other words, with a little exaggeration, it is reminiscent of the famous BendGate problems, that is to say phones like the iPhone 6 Plus and the SamsungSamsung Galaxy S6 EdgeEdge which twisted a little too easily when you placed in the back pocket of pants.
