Motorola Signature 27 has landed, packing a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The flagship device, officially unveiled on November 5, 2026, starts at $1,599 and boasts a 7,000 mAh battery, BelitongEkspres reported.
Motorola Signature 27’s Flagship Specifications and Design
The Signature 27 is a powerhouse under the hood. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, paired with RAM configurations up to 16 GB. This combination is designed to handle demanding applications and multitasking with ease.
The device’s display is a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo panel. Motorola claims this screen technology, which uses two emission layers, is 34 percent more energy-efficient and has a lifespan 121 percent longer than a standard AMOLED screen. It peaks at a remarkable 12,000 nits of brightness, making it one of the brightest smartphone screens on the market.
Durability is a key focus. The phone features an aluminum frame with ceramic and glass construction, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. It carries both IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings and meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard for durability. The Signature 27 measures 162.01 x 77.04 x 7.99 mm and weighs 227 grams, making it slightly thicker and heavier than its predecessor.

Zoom Performance at Maximum
Camera capabilities are the Signature 27’s main selling point. It features a triple-camera system on the back. The standout is a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, which supports 3x optical zoom and a “Super Zoom Pro” feature that can achieve up to 100x zoom. This level of zoom is typically a mix of optical and digital, so actual sharpness at maximum zoom will need to be tested in real-world conditions.
The primary camera is a 50 MP sensor, the Sony LYTIA L910, with an aperture of f/1.6, LOFIC technology for improved low-light performance, and optical image stabilization (OIS). Accompanying it is a 50 MP ultrawide camera with autofocus and a 122-degree field of view. The front-facing camera is also a 50 MP sensor with autofocus, capable of recording video up to 4K resolution.
One of the most unique features is the Event Vision Sensor (EVS), which Motorola claims is the first of its kind in a smartphone. This sensor detects changes in light intensity on a per-pixel basis, separate from the main camera. It works in conjunction with the Action Shot feature to help produce sharper images of fast-moving objects.
For video recording, the rear camera system supports 8K at 30 frames per second and 4K up to 120 frames per second, with Dolby Vision support. The camera system has already made an impact, achieving a DXOMARK score of 173, placing it second globally and just two points behind the leader, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra. It also outscored the iPhone 18 Pro, which received 172 points.

Software, Battery, and Availability
The device includes Motorola’s own AI assistant named Qira. It is also the first Motorola smartphone to support GrapheneOS, an open-source operating system developed in collaboration with the GrapheneOS Foundation. The Signature 27 is promised seven years of OS and security updates.
A large 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery fuels the device. Motorola states it supports 90W TurboPower charging, which can deliver 12 hours of battery life in just 12 minutes of charging. This addresses the common need for rapid power-ups in high-performance devices.

The Motorola Signature 27 will be available in two color options: PANTONE Coal Smoke with a Tactical Weave texture and PANTONE Capulet Olive with a fabric-inspired finish. According to Jambi Independent, the pre-order in the United States begins on November 19, with general sales starting November 26 through Motorola.com, Amazon.com, and BestBuy.com. The device will be sold unlocked, and no major carriers have confirmed plans to carry it.
The price varies by region. In the US, it starts at $1,599.99 for the 12GB/512GB model. In Germany and Switzerland, the price is set at 1,899 euros and 1,899 Swiss francs, respectively. While the phone is scheduled for release in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on November 16, its availability and pricing for Indonesia remain unconfirmed at this time.
