Motorola's new affordable smartphone is available in France

Motorola is still trying to establish itself permanently in the smartphone market, this time with a new entry-level model, the moto g22, sold at a very affordable price.

Motorola continues to expand its range, particularly in the segment of smartphones under 200 euros. It is therefore the small Moto G22 which is now arriving on the French market. Motorola offers a smartphone after all classic, but still boosted on the photo and autonomy.

For its price, its strong points are undoubtedly its 6.5-inch Max Vision screen, with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, but above all its large 5000 mAh battery. The resolution of the panel is however limited to HD+ (1600 x 720 px).

In terms of photography, the new affordable model in the range is doing well: Motorola has multiplied the sensors, four in number for the rear module. The main lens has 50 MP with Quad Pixel technology, and is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as two other sensors of 2 MP each for depth and macro. At the front, the selfie sensor has 16 MP.

On the power side, the Moto G22 runs with a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC (only 4G, of course). It is supported by 4 GB of RAM. In France, only the 64 GB storage option is offered. Fortunately, it is possible to expand the storage space by microSD cardsup to 1 TB. A side fingerprint reader is there, as well as a jack.

Finally, being a telephone sold under the bar of 200 euros, it is however necessary to make a cross on the fast charge for the Moto G22, which is content with recharging at 15 W. However, it benefits from splash resistance with an IP52 certification. Finally, last strong point, it comes natively with Android 12.
