Al-Marsad Newspaper: Qatari Mubarak Al-Hajri narrated the story of his acquaintance with the artist Ahlam Al-Shamsi in Beirut.
Al-Hajri said during his interview on the “That with Sami Al-Jaber” program: “The first time Umm Fahd appeared in the 95th year was one of the first loving Gulf accents, beautiful songs, and the ear is loved before the eye.”
He continued: “Umm Fahd was a beautiful female voice for me.” He added, explaining their first meeting, saying: “We had a rally in Lebanon, and we used to stay up late and dine in a restaurant, and UNESCO was hosting a party for the Emirati Eid. And then we met.”
